This really is the nicest scrub top pattern out there. I made it for my daughter who is a Registered Veterinary Technician and she gave it a big thumbs up when I offered to make it for her. The design details are lovely - the faux wrap front neckline is such a nice touch and the multiple front pockets a welcome detail. You do need to pay attention during the construction of the neckline facings but it's totally worth it - the result is very refined and professional look. Even so, it was a very quick project. My only comment is that the suggested method of adding the elastic at the back waist was a little too basic. Instead, I added a channel of fabric on the inside, inserted the elastic, anchoring it at one end with topstitching that end of the channel, pulled the elastic to the desired length and topstitched the remaining open end of the channel. This made for a much neater finish.
This was my first Jalie pattern but most definitely won't be my last!! I am in LOVE with Jalie patterns after having sewn this scrub top! It was so smartly drafted, easy to follow along, and such a joy to sew! I cannot make to make more :)
