After considerable searching for a suitable pattern for pjs to make for my granddaughters for Christmas, I decided to use the Jalie 2686. I shortened the sleeves and made short pants instead of long as it’s summer here in Australia. The shorts I altered to paper bag tops and a mock fly. Just personal preference, but will make the original pattern next time. I didn’t use piping, but a self made bias trim instead. I found the pattern to be easy and straightforward to make. It came together well and the cut was good. I made size 12 and size 10. The size 10 I inadvertently sewed the buttonholes on the wrong side - oops! The colours in the photos didn’t come out too well, but one is a pale blue and the other a light purple. My granddaughters loved them! Will make again. Great that there is a huge range of sizes and I also used the projector files which saved printing, sticking and cutting. Love it.
