Great Jalie Pattern with a few tweaks

I originally made this pattern for my daughter right after the Olympics. It is a good pattern and easy to sew. My daughter is a high level competitive gymnast. Though I liked the leotard, the only thing I would change would be the shoulder straps. They are too wide. That is the only thing I would change. The finished product is cute, looks professional and fits nicely.

Fabulous pattern covering a huge size range

This is my second leotard, and I was not disappointed with the switch to Jalie. The pattern assembled easily, the instructions were clear and concise and the leotard went together beautifully!

Total success

This is my first leotard. I made one for each of my 3 granddaughters, sizes 4, 6, and 8 (which is their usual size and also what they take in the leggings). Perfect fit and everyone was very happy, including me! I found it quite easy to make the sleeveless style, I plan to try the long-sleeved one next.

Fantastic Pattern

I have made many leotards over the years for my competitive gymnast. I am new to Jalie patterns though. I made this leotard for my daughter. It turned out very well and fit nicely in the booty with no continuous "adjustment" necessary during practice. I did not have to alter this pattern in any way but want to share what I feel would improve this pattern. The shoulder straps seem slightly wider than necessary. I am going to make another leotard today and I will make the shoulder straps 1/2" narrower.

My favorite Leo so far

I have made several of Jalie's Leo, but this is by far my favorite one. The multiple pieces make it easy to use smaller quantities of each color, so I am not stuck with a lot of smaller pieces. My daughter has a long torso, so I had to give her more length. It was en easy fix, but you have to know what you are doing. This Leo has more coverage at the leg openings and the arm openings are lower, so there is no pinching.
