good instructions - nice design but note very long rise

The pattern was straight-forward and nicely drafted. I did find the rise super-long (and I am already long-waisted) and had to make some annoying and not entirely successful adjustments after the fact as I foolishly didn't check carefully before cutting. Perhaps an issue with smaller adult sizes?

As usual with Jalie patterns, these sweat pants were easy to sew and fit well. I will be using this pattern often. I walk throughout the winter and so I made two pairs with sweatshirt fleece..warm and comfortable. I think I can adapt the pattern for all seasons!

Going to make lots of these

I'm not done with my garments yet, so this isn't quite a full review . But I've read through the pattern and found only one place where I had trouble visualizing a step. Printing and assembling everything went smoothly - no trouble at all. I find that to be an indicator of a well-designed and well-written pattern, The cargo pockets and the silhouette of these pants are going to allow me to make some soft and cozy pants for granddaughters - just right for curling up in on a cold day. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that I haven't finished the actual sewing yet.
