The bottoms have a moderate leg opening finished with topstitched elastic. Waist options: Low waist (C) or high waist (D) finished with elastic, or high, sash-style, waistband (E).

Slightly surprised

I have used Jalie patterns before and always found them very good and easy to follow. However, buying online in the UK, I failed to realise until the paper pattern arrived that this it was only for the trousers and shorts.
I know Jalie patterns often offer more than one option with their patterns and so are very good value. However I felt the photographs on the pattern cover were perhaps slightly misleading in this instance and it wasn't possible to see the very small alternative pattern numbers for the tops on the screen and realise that those views were actually for other patterns.
I'm sure I shall use the pattern but just a heads up to check it is the one you actually want before you buy!

I made the surplice top successfully and easily, and i've basically never sewn with knits before. Fit as designed!

Love this suit!

Made this suit for my grandaughters and they love it! It fits great and I love the ability to be creative with the design. Each one is a little different in colors and design.

True to size and Youtube Sewalong Made for an easy sew

Though I have lots of sewing experience, bathing suits were a relatively new endeavour for me. The suit fit perfectly based on the measuring chart and the large size range made it possible for me to make suits for both myself and my teenage daughters with the purchase of only one pattern. I followed the Youtube sewalong and the end product was pretty near perfect!

A fun pattern to sew - it was for my grandchildren :-)

Jamais de déception avec Jalie. Patron et explications nickel, réalisation bien plus facile que je le prévoyais. C'est bien agréable de pouvoir personnaliser les tailles du haut et du bas de maillot. J'ai réalisé la culotte taille haute et la trouvé particulièrement confortable à porter.
