This pattern made the perfect ponte pants for my kid’s orchestra concert. I love Jalie’s knit waistbands and this one is no exception. A yoga band with extra security of elastic at the top. I also used the secret pocket.

This is such a lovely wide legged pants. I have made countless versions for me and my mini me for shorts and long pants for me. It's super comfortable and the deep waistband hugs the belly comfortably. The best part is that you can look dressed and still be comfortable wear these with some smart casual top. love it. I just need to figure out how to back some good size pockets rather than the card slot that is part of the instructions.

All I had to do was choose her size using Jalie's chart and add 3" in length (she's one of the tallest kids in her class). They were easy to cut and sew. She loves them and wouldn't take them off. Mom thought they were stylish and she said they were comfy. I especially like the layers function which made printing and tracing off her size even easier. Jalie has never let me down.

I made these pants and I just love them. This was my first attempt and I did make small errors that I won’t repeat. I love the fit and they are comfortable. I struggled a little bit with the elastic in the waistband but it will perfect on the next pair I make. I will probably make at least 5 more pairs.
