I have tried to make this dress several times and have had issues with the straps and gaping at the side. This seems to be a common issue with this pattern according to some sewing groups. Real shame as it a beautiful dress.

My skater is tall and slim. I needed to add 6 inches to the girth! Comparing her measurements to another pattern company size chart that asks for crotch length and nape to back I knew I would have to add length to bodice and briefs. From the front the dress turned out exactly as the pattern picture. The back looked different as my skater wanted a halter neck with bikini clasp fastening and a higher back. I like the centre back seam, ensures a really close fit into the curve of the back. The only thing I found off was the leg elastic too long. To overcome this I measured the leg opening and took 85% as my elastic length.
The mesh insert into the bodice makes for a beautiful leotard or dress and I would highly recommend this pattern.
