Pulled these boots together from a couple of old stuff sacks, Joann blizzard fleece, an ancient REI gore bivy sack, a blown out inflatable couch (!!) and some salvaged elastic.
The pattern was so precise and informative. I've barely got basic skills on a machine and the Nordik boots came together quite well.
10/10 will make another pair
I really enjoyed making these slippers. The sizing was perfect, both for my own pair and for my husband’s. I was able to use up scraps of batting, rib knit and flannel. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. And most importantly, the slippers are super comfortable. I added a non-slip fabric to the sole and used sherpa lining for added warmth, and they turned out great. I would highly recommend this pattern!
I had a vision of creating three for my family as "apres ski" boots for us to wear on the ride home from the ski resort this winter. I just finished my first pair and they came together so nicely. They fit me perfectly and I'm really excited to have something cozy to slip on after a day in ski boots.
I recently purchased this pattern to make for myself and my partner. So far I have only made the slippers and am thrilled with the way they turned out.
The pattern was very acurate and easy to follow and I am looking forward to making the booties.
