Very pleased how this turned out great fit
I love this Jacket! I got some wonderful wool/ cashmere fabric for it. I used a projector to cut out rather than a paper pattern. The instructions were easy to follow, the pattern was very accurate size wise and I am so pleased with the result. I also bought the add on lining pattern, easy to to and makes a very professional looking jacket.
So, this is my third Jalie make, and it's another winner! This is easy to make with interesting design lines. Again, the drafting is spot on and the directions were really easy to follow. I made this up in a mid-weight wool that had been sitting in my stash for a while, and it's really sharp looking. The only thing I changed was to add topstiching at the top of the pocket, and continued it to the edges of the front pieces before I continued on with the rest of the pattern. I did this because of the fabric I chose - it just didn't look good "slouchy". I'm curious to make this up in a lighter weight fleece for a more casual look!
What a great basic to add to your wardrobe! I needed to replace a long duster sweater and I thought this would be a good choice. I wasn’t wrong; I love it! It’s a great length to go with a variety of styles. At first I was a little intimidated by the number of pieces (I usually make t-shirts and joggers), but it goes together quickly. The diagonal lines step this basic piece up to the next level. I’ve got fabric for two more ready to go!
