It was my first time ever sewing clothes. I decided to choose a Jalie pattern because they looked beautiful and the instructions were clear. It was a success. The instructions were easy to understand, even for a beginner like me. I’m glad I chose Jalie.
The skirts look great (I made the short ones) and their fit is perfect.
I made the waist yoke longer the second time I made the pattern. I find it more comfortable that way.
Made the above skirts and very pleased with the overall results. My only criticism is the sizing. My daughter and my niece are the same age and average build. I had to make two sizes bigger.
I didn't like how view A looks on my little figure skater. The skirt looked fine on the hanger but wrinkled across her tummy on. However, view D worked out perfectly. I have made view A once and view D 4 times.
