Well marked pattern pieces, clear instructions, looks like the picture, and everything just worked. I made a muslin version to test the pattern and decided to go down a size and adjust the armholes slightly and it was very easy to do both. I haven’t sewn clothing for years (decades?) but this came together in about 4 hours.

Made my first one from a light pink seersucker. Love it. Just a few personal fit tweaks Next one in an Art Gallery light weight quilting cotton, one in a cotton linen blend, and so far, four more in Rayons. Love the fit, construction and comfort! Scouring my stash for more pieces that will work.

Well designed - I love it when the collar and stand come together so perfectly. I pivoted the bust dart out completely (mastectomy), dividing the extra volume between the hemline and the armscye to customize the fit. Making a light rayon version for my niece’s wedding (perhaps to go with a Lisette pencil skirt) and planning a couple more in cotton poplin to wear at work (massage therapist).

Made myself this beautiful shirt in a Liberty of London fabric. The bow makes the shirt for me… i love this pattern - it’s a challenge.
