Do the pockets on the front of this jacket pattern actually work as pockets or is it just a flap and a faux pocket for looks? Thank you!

Pattern and instructions were easy to follow. I am pretty new to sewing, and it took me quite a while but I was able to make a jacket that my kid will actually wear out of my old jeans.

wonderful classic pattern.

I am currently sewing the Jalie Jean Jacket. It is a very good pattern for a classic jean jacket with four pockets. I have made many Jalie patterns, they are all well thought out with both written and illustrated instructions. The instructions for this pattern include many lovely finishing details. The pockets are especially nicely done.

Patron bien conçu. Les explications sont assez faciles à suivre quand on a un minimum d’expérience. Les tailles sont justes. Le résultat est très sympa. Attention néanmoins aux épaisseurs ! Ma machine n’a pas voulu coudre les boutonnières 😡 comme indiqué. Je me suis donc résolue à les coudre verticalement… bonne couture ! Vous ne serez pas déçues de ce modèle.
