Designed for cycling comfort, these shorts feature a waistband reaching the belly button, with choice between waistband (A) or bib (B) style.

The thigh band maintains shorts position while the lack of inner seams reduces chafing and makes chamois insertion easier (the pattern also includes instructions for sewing in a purchased chamois). These shorts also include an inset for contrasting colors.

I’ve been waiting so long for a cycling bib shorts pattern! The fit is snug and perfect. I love the guidance on installing the chamois pad. Thank you!!! I adapted it for men too - a men’s real version would be nice!

Great cycling shorts

Another winner from jalie. Love the fit of these. I sized up as my fabric didn’t have the required stretch. They fit perfectly and do not ride up when I’m cycling.

je l'ai réalisé avec un chamois qui m'a causé quelques difficultés pour la pose, mais avec la patience j'ai réussi.
Je vais en refaire un autre, mais cette fois-ci j'utiliserai de l'élastique de 1.5 pouce en guise de bretelle

Great pattern

Made these without the bib or chamois insertion. Came together quickly and they fit very well. Very comfortable due to no inner seam leg. Great opportunity for colourblocking and using fabric scraps.
