Just what we needed!

My husband was looking for waterproof mittens for shoveling snow. However, when we looked in retail, they were far too expensive for good quality. Made this pattern and was very impressed, clear instructions, and help with choosing of fabrics. Although we haven’t put them to the test yet, I’m sure they will be up for the challenge. !

I live in Alaska and do ALL the outdoor things (nordic ski, running, sledding with my kids, etc.) so I'm pretty picky about my mittens. I want warmth but also range of movement, and comfort. These mittens deliver on all fronts. They actually keep my hands warm and I can still do ALL THE THINGS!
