Description

Loose-fitting overalls (dungarees). This pattern includes extended sizes up to 66 1/2'' (169 cm) hips, 60 5/8'' waist (154 cm) and 65'' (165 cm) bust that also works for boys!

Relaxed oversize construction, slightly tapered leg, apron bib with pocket and adjustable racerback straps that buckle at the front. Equipped with 4 pockets (two hip pockets, to patch pockets in the back) and a carpenter pocket on one leg.

Make it in a denim or corduroy for a sturdy garment or in a lighter-weight woven for an easy-to-wear summer piece.

This pattern was issued in 1997 and is no longer available in paper format. To popular demand, we scanned it to offer a print-at home (45 pages) and copy shop (36'' or A0 (3 pages)) option for this design. Please note that because it is a scan, we cannot offer it in with layers (print one size at a time option).

Fun and quick
I have made two pairs already, and am loving these overalls. I followed my measurements and made a size 22, but did have a baggy hip and obviously baggy legs. I took in the legs from the inseam and they look a lot cuter. I don’t mind the roomy hip as it is more comfortable and not meant to be skin tight. I used funny fabrics and have gotten a lot of compliments so far! Good basic overall pattern, easy to whip up in a day, easy to adjust to your dream pair. Next I’m going to try stretching it out and making a pair for my husband!

Awesome 90's Overalls
I made these for my daughter and they were just what I remembered wearing in High School. They came together beautifully and were fun to sew with all the topstitching. You'll want to size down if you are looking for a slimmer fit as they have lots of ease due to their "vintage" styling. I wish I had been sewing in high school and I would have made a dozen pairs!

Very Baggy Overalls
This is a great pattern if you like the REALLY baggy look. Would love to see this pattern in a slimmer style more like what is popular today. Other than that it sews up beautifully !
