A really great pattern

Although this looked complicated, it was really easy and fun to make. I had a lot of fun making the dress and my daughter loved it. Sizing was perfect. I lined the lace skirt with a fairly heavy stretch fabric which worked out great. The extra weight made the costume more dramatic. I would make this one again!

Beautiful Dress

I made this dress for my daughter (age 11) with the short sleeves. She looked fantastic and people were amazed that the dress was "homemade". I did alter one thing, I lined the underside of the peplum with the vest color for added interest when she spun.

Beautiful dress and not as complicated as I thought it would be.

Easy & Beautiful

I've made this pattern twice for my daughter. And both times it was a huge hit. I skipped the peplum overlay to make it more streamlined and a bit less Renaissance. One time, use a lace skirt, the other chiffon. Both were perfect!

I did find that I needed to shorten the panty and lengthen the bodice for her. Not something I generally need to do, but it worked well.

This is a great pattern. Terrific instructions. Easy to work. Beautiful to wear.
