ÉMILIE Sweater (free PDF pattern)
Formerly known as the Yoko, the Émilie is a free pattern for a square-shaped loose-fitting top with a roll-neck, drop shoulder, and semi-fitted sleeve.
You can easily turn it into a tunic or dress by adding length at the hem and wearing them with our popular Clara leggings.
Use a soft and thick knit to make a toasty sweater. Use a softer sweater knit for an easy-to-wear piece you can wear all year long.
It is a wonderful pattern for anyone who is looking for a beginner's project for knits or if you want to try using a PDF pattern for the first time.

This pattern was easy and quick to sew. I spent more time laying out and cutting the pieces than I did on the sewing. This would be a great entry project for someone new to sewing. Or someone new to using a Serger needing a simple project. The results were amazing.
I'm a reasonably new sewing enthusiast and found this an easy make. I love the high neckline and shape, it is simple but effective and I will be making lots moe
I enjoyed making the pattern. Easy to follow directions. It took me a while to determine what size to make. There seemed to be a discrepancy between the size recommended given ones measurements and the various sizes of the finished garment. I like the dropped shoulder and the boxy style. I have gotten compliments when I wear it.
Having all the sizes makes this pattern very useful for slouchy or fitted. I can do either quite easily with one pattern.
The simple silhouette of the Yoko makes it perfect for a quick sew for gifting without worry about the size needing to be perfect. It also lends itself to pattern hacking or modifying. Get your copy now!
