Twist Top
- View A has a three-quarter sleeve
- View B has a puff sleeve
- View C is sleeveless.
- The hem can be finished with a wide stretch lace trim.
This sewing pattern includes an optional front flounce and modesty panel for more coverage. If you use a fabric with great vertical stretch, it makes a great maternity top too!
Print at home (A4 / US Letter): 20 pages
I made it with the modesty panel which works for going to work.
The top was easy to sew. I only sewed it wrong 3 times because I was in a rush to finish it. Doh!
Fit is great.
It was a lot easier to make than it looked and the instructions were easy to follow. It fits extremely well!
Easy to sew thanks to Jalie's diagrams and instructions, and a great fit!
Although this isn't from Jalie's latest collection I've noticed a few RTW tops with a twist this season, so it's still on trend. Without stating my age, suffice it to say I'm not 21 anymore, but this pattern suits older ladies too (I've sewn the modesty panel mind) and it goes together like it's supposed to in the instructions.
Great look! I've made this top with and without the flounce, with and without the modesty panel, and I love them both. Without the modesty panel, I have the option of wearing different camisoles underneath, changing the look. The tops look more complicated to sew than they are, and the fit is great!
