Absolutely love this pattern. Easy to sew and looks great. I want one!
made it from a heavy dark denim, it was a joy to make. I got a lot of compliments, 'what a nice jacket'! Surely will make it again, perhaps from a grey herring bone Harris tweed, with a red silk lining.
The angles on the pockets and back are a nice design accent. The jacket came together easily with clear instructions (and a little help via email - which was speedy!). Sizing is accurate - I’m 5’6”, 135 lbs, RTW size 8, and the ‘V’ worked for me.
I quilted each piece separately before assembling - used flannel for inside, mid-weight linen for outside. Interfaced pocket for stability since I did not quilt that part.
Will definitely do another version - and extend the fronts just a bit to accommodate buttons.
Very pleased how this turned out great fit
