The hem should be at the ankle but vertical stretch will have an impact on the final length when you wear the pants. They might stretch out to below the ankle.

My first Jalie pattern!

Hello,
Just wanted to say that I made my first Jalie pattern today, the Renee ponte pants .
What a great pattern! It took hardly any time to sew, was true to size and fits me well. I wasn't used to tracing patterns, so that took me as much time the actually sewing:). I didn't really like sewing ponte fabrics before, but maybe that's because I had only ever tried it with patterns that weren't suitable. This one worked! Thanks for this excellent design,
