I made this dress for a tango and I love it. It looks great in the ice and the ruffle on the skirt has a lovely flow.

So this pattern does not look so good on the cover, but it is fantastic and very easy to make. I have made it two times, without a serger, and as a person who does not know how to sew. The first time I made it in hot pink, no ruffle but added an elastic trim, it worked perfect as a dress for my daughter's barbie routine. Next time I made it in Orange and yellow, again no ruffle, and with a clear elastic strap, to go as a character dress for west side story. Both times they were easy to make, and look fantastic. With this as with all figure skating patterns I have to elongate the middle.
