This was fantastic for a rugged hike to Mt Whitney. I used this pattern for a sunshirt out of sunlite from Discovery Fabrics and also made a hoodie out of Alpha 60 from DF. Loved the pontail hole as I have thick hair. I did shorten the bodice by 4inches and the sleeves by 2in as I'm 5ft. I lowered the ponyhole two inches (since I wear my hair in low braid) and also made the slit larger to accommodate my thick hair.

I made a thermal base layer from pure wool jersey in the DD size with turtle neck. I found the overall fit was perfect for my size. I also like the shaped bodice as it is very flattering. The neck size is proportionate and not huge like so many larger size patterns. Fours stars as it isn’t perfect for me with sleeves about 10cm too long and will need to shorten for further makes. Looking at the pattern photos again, I can see that this might be the design as clears up my confusion as I do not have short arms or narrow shoulders. I would also shorten the bodice next time but that is personal taste rather than the pattern. I will make this again.
