I am pleased with my purchase and final project. Found the video more informative than the written instructions. Will definitely be making more.
I’m tired of how uncomfortable ready to wear bras are. So I started an adventure to make my own. I love the video walking me thru how it’s done. It was much easier than I thought it would be, Now I don’t have to pay exorbitant prices for an uncomfortable bra!
Great instructions, needed to wear under long sleeve UV tee for swimming, went together quickly. Very pleased.
I LOVE THIS BRA!!!! Here's why:
1) Excellent Youtube tutorial that expands on the written directions.
2) Easy to make and fit.
3) No apex line to deal with, which is perfect for someone who might "droop" a bit, due to menopause or having nursed babes.
4) Super comfortable!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've made 2 and will keep on making this bra because it works so well for me!
I'm not very big, so I don't need a lot of support. For fuller busted women, I've seen on-line that adding channeling for wires around the seam line for where the cup and cradle attach gives more support. You could also play around with the degree of stretch of your fabric, BUT if you use less stretch, you will need a bigger cup size. Ask me how I know this, LOL!
thanks so much Jalie for this wonderful pattern!
Love all the sizes and ideas of using interchangeable pattern pieces.
