I've been so busy finishing a few paintings while dreaming of what is lacking in my wardrobe. Tomorrow is my first day off in 11 months and I intend to sort through my ample supply of material and work out which pattern with which cloth. Can't wait.

My first Jalie pattern!

Just wanted to say that I made my first Jalie pattern today, the Renee ponte pants .
What a great pattern! It took hardly any time to sew, was true to size and fits me well. I wasn't used to tracing patterns, so that took me as much time the actually sewing:). I didn't really like sewing ponte fabrics before, but maybe that's because I had only ever tried it with patterns that weren't suitable. This one worked! Thanks for this excellent design,

This is one if my new favorite Jalie patterns..perfectly drafted, easy to follow instructions and quick to make, . These pants are so flattering .. you will surely love these, too..
