I'd never made men's trousers before and was expecting it to be difficult to get a good fit. But with this pattern it was super easy. I left off the fly and just elasticated the waistband; also narrowed the leg as I didn't want the flared look. The fit was really good - just needed tweaking to take in the waist for my skater. I used a 360gsm ponte and it worked a treat. Very happy.
