Pockets are good but need revision

Love the Elenore pants and the pockets are just right. I wear them to golf so while the pockets are a bit shallow, they are just right for a couple of tees and a ball marker.
Following the instructions will result in the inside of the finished pocket being the wrong side of the lining material. (See other review). I fixed that in step 2 by putting the right side of pocket facing to the wrong side of the lining - NOT wrong side to wrong side. Also, the photos in the instructions are not as clear as the usual drawing and diagrams in Jalie patterns (which are great!). But with a little patience and revision you can have a great pair of pants with good functional pockets.

revised a bit

The pockets work well. For me they looked a bit small so I lengthened by 1.5 inches. I will lengthen more if I make these jeans again. And whoever designed the instructions thinks the right side of the fabric should be on the inside of the jeans rather than on the inside of the pocket. I fixed this and now have lovely pocket interiors. All in all - easy and worth doing!
