My Dream One Shoulder Swimsuit

I used this pattern to create a black swimsuit by lining the front and using View B's three narrow spaghetti straps for the opposing shoulder. The ONLY change I made was to shorten the front and back at the lengthen/shorten lines per the instructions for my girth measurement, which is just a little shorter than the measurements shown on the size chart. IT IS PERFECT. I used my coverstitch for the final top stitch on all the turned elastic binding, and it looks so professional. This will be a pattern used again and again. Thank you so much, Jalie! This is a great pattern!

Great but watch the torso length

I made view A as a swimsuit for my DD with a full lining, and it was really cute and wore well. Watch the torso (i.e. "Girth") measurement however as I have had to add two to three inches to the suit each time I have made it but each person is different. I believe if you watch and adjust for the torso length, this suit never fails and provides great coverage for little girls.

the asymmetrical part could be less fussy to make

I've made about 10 of these and had to alter the asymmetrical shoulder side so that the main body came up higher for better coverage. I do not use the pattern as shown with the braided fabric, it just doesn't cover well and my daughter refused to wear it - she said it pulled open and you could see down the front when she was on bars. I've made this enough times to know I probably won't use it again. What I want is pattern that looks like the GK asymmetrical leos. Just make it simpler.
