I had to combine two sizes for the Nikita top that are four sizes apart: size O (girls) for the shoulders and armholes, and size R for the width and length. I tried R, and it was huge on me, and I know O would not work overall. With this weird size hack, the top fits perfectly, and I do like it - I had to waste one to figure it out. I am not typically such weird sizing! Now that I've figured it out, the top is unique and fun to make. I used a sheer black and white fabric for the back and a solid black for the front. I like the cutout in the back and the side shaping. The lines lend themselves to many color-blocking options and unique designs. It's a great sports tank top.

This was my first time getting a pattern as a PDF. The instructions were clear and it is printed and ready to go. I haven't cut or assembled a garment yet but it looks pretty straighforward.

I had such great results with the Nikita! The instructions are very clear and easy to follow with a RTW result. This pattern makes color blocking easy. I love how you can have a casual summer dress but make the same in a shirt version and have a wonderful sporty athletic-looking top.
