This is a wonderful pattern. So simple, quick to sew, and yet so elegant. I have made it 9 times already. I've made it in colourful quick-dry activewear nylon like Supplex, perfect for travelling and touring, where it can be washed and dried overnight and without needing ironing. I made it in black wool cotton jersey which looks dressy enough for an evening out. The pattern even works with 100% cotton fleece. I thought fleece wouldn't have enough stretch, but it did. I just used cotton jersey as the waistband facing to reduce bulk. I made it size S based on my waist measurement and shortened the legs by 11.5 cm (shortening the legs is a standard adjustment for me) and the fit was perfect. I used 2cm wide elastic, although the pattern called for 1cm wide, because I like a firmer waistband. All in all, a great pattern and I can see myself making it many more times in the future.
