I agree 100% with the above reviews! Straightforward to make, fits well. I usually line them, which helps keep my special needs skater warmer, and still looking sharp. I do with there were velcro straps to fasten the pant leg to the skate - but otherwise this one has been made many many times... and will continue to be made frequently!

Je suis en train de coudre ce pantalon en deux tailles différentes pour les deux fils. J'ai dû modifier la longueur après avoir choisi la taille selon les mesures des hanches car mes garçons ne rentrent pas dans les mesures moyennes (très facile à faire avec les patrons superposés).

J'ai eu des difficultés avec la braguette, j'ai dû défaire deux fois mes coutures avant de la réussir. Je suis débutante, donc j'ai trouvé que les instructions n'étaient pas assez détaillées pour cette étape.

Je suis à l'étape de l'élastique à la taille et là, je ne comprends vraiment pas comment cela doit fonctionner: l'élastique ayant une largeur de 4 cm, il descend une fois rabattu plus bas que le haut de la fermeture éclair! Si quelqu'un peut m'expliquer ce que je fais mal, je serais très reconnaissante.

My son figure skates and I have used this pattern for years! The sizes are right on and it is easily modifiable for less flare in the legs if desired.

My son is the skater. I have made this pattern many times in many sizes, I find the legs to be a bit too full but other than that I love them. I do not put a fly in his pants, they look cleaner with just wide elastic in the top. Thanks for a great product.

I've made this pattern so many times I might actually be able to make it in my sleep. I've possibly made it when I was half asleep as my son is very hard on his pants. The fit is true and the directions are easy to follow. I had not sewn very many flies prior to sewing these for my son and I find these instructions very easy and clear. If your skater is hard on pants I would suggest not doing the pleat in the front of the pants. In my experience this starts popping out after several wearings and makes the pants look more worn than they may be. For competition I'm a huge fan of the extra heavy weight Ponte that Spandex World carries. Makes for an extremely nice looking pair of pants. Several of the higher level skaters at the rink have started asking me to make these as they come out much nicer than the pre-made pants.
